Do you know how a hovercraft works? Can you make it go faster, change directions, or carry weight? Build your own hovercraft, test it, and race against other hovercraft in this hands-on STEM program.
Best for elementary school ages and older; this event will include latex balloons, small parts and use of a hot glue gun.

Best for ages 8+ with caregiver; anyone may try. Skill level: must be able to use scissors independently. Suggested for ages 8+.
Feb. 5 Wire People. Use twisted wire, corks, spools, and beads to make little people. Note: uses wire cutters, wire, small parts.
Feb. 12: Tissue Paper Flowers. Create a fancy tissue-paper bouquet that never needs watering. Note: uses scissors.
Feb. 19: Revenge of the Snow Globes. They're back! Bring your own jar and water-resistant items for your snowglobe scene or use our supplies while they last. Note: uses hot glue.
Feb. 26: Easy Relief Printing. Use foam sheets to make your own art prints. Note: messy, paints may stain clothes.
Come learn a new art or practice your existing paper folding skills! We’ll have plenty of paper, templates, and books available to help make your ideas come to life.

March 26: Origami Frogs. Learn how to make a business card into a tiny hopping frog.
