Your library offers a variety of programs for Seniors to connect, learn and grow. We provide opportunities to write poetry, get one-on-one library help, socialize with others, learn something new, and more. Find out about these opportunities below.
Join us for Senior Saturdays at Muldoon Library from 11 AM – 1 PM. A time and space set aside to assist area seniors one-on-one and in small groups.
Drop in for:
Join local poet and facilitator Brian Hutton for a poetry workshop at the Mountain View Library, including exercises and discussions on creativity and mental well being.
Workshops take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2 - 3:30 PM.
A monthly event for seniors, this program is an opportunity to enjoy community connection, learn about a new topic, or participate in a fun activity.

Preparing for end of life involves some tough conversations, but it can be easier with an expert and a therapy dog by your side. Come join UAA Professor Dr. Corrie Whitmore and our furry friend while we fill out Advanced Health Care Directives and learn more about other ways to start preparing now. Come by yourself or bring family along to be a part of the conversation.
