Celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month with delicious ice cream!
Anchorage Public Library and Wild Scoops are partnering up to create a book-themed ice cream flavor—but we need your help!
STEP 1: DREAM IT
Think up your very own ice cream flavor inspired by your favorite childhood book for a chance to see it come to life! Ice cream and book lovers of all ages can participate!
Once you have your idea in mind, pick up a Flavor Creation Worksheet at any library location between September 1 - 13. Bring your sheet back to any APL location or email it to community@wildscoops.com. The last day to turn in your sheet is September 13!
STEP 2: VOTE
Voting starts the week of September 14. Look for the voting link on social media (@wildscoops)
STEP 3: TASTE IT!
Join us for our Scoops & Stories event on Wednesday, September 30 from 5 - 7 PM at the Wild Scoops Midtown Scoop Shop! Ice cream will be available for purchase, submitted designs will be on display, and librarians from APL will be on hand to offer book recommendations based on your preferred flavor!
Plus! Get a FREE limited edition sticker when you submit a completed worksheet at the library-- or show your library card to Wild Scoops when you visit in September!
