Available at the Loussac and Gerrish (Girdwood) libraries, these single-user privacy booths are the perfect spot for interviews, classes, and webinars, or just to take a phone call without disturbing others. There is no charge for use of study booths.

Reservation Information

In person or phone reservations, only - online booking is not available.

Loussac Library

  • 3 booths available
  • Bring your library card or photo ID to a third floor reference desk to request a booth
  • Booths may be reserved up to two days in advance in person or by calling 907-343-2975. Users will be asked to present their library card or photo ID upon arrival.

Gerrish Library

  • 1 booth available
  • Ask staff to request a booth
  • Booths may be reserved by calling 907-343-4044.

Usage Rules

  • Use is limited to 2 hours per day.
  • Only one person may be in the booth at a time.
  • No food is allowed in the booth. Please ensure that drinks are in a securely covered container.
  • Users may be held responsible for damage to the booth during their time.
