The Teen Zine is an annual mini magazine that features short stories, photos, book lists, artwork, poetry, playlists, and more, all created by teens! This mini magazine will be shared across Anchorage, in libraries, schools, and even online.
2026 Submissions
Submissions for the 3rd Annual Teen Zine are open starting August 1st! The theme for this year is PETS. Submit your creative works celebrating the real or imaginary pets in your life to aplteen@anchorageak.gov. All creative works are welcome, from stories and poems, to art and music playlists.

Recommended for ages 14+, adult topics may be discussed.
